A total of RM3.1 billion was channelled to relevant banking institutions to be cashed out by recipients during Phase 1’s crediting process which commenced from 6 to 10 September. This is the government’s effort to help those affected by COVID-19 to place a roof over their heads. One would only need to fork out a monthly rental which starts as low as RM124 per month. This initiative is a cashless assistance for kitchen utensils under the PEMERKASA package announced in March 2021. Prihatin Kasih recipients will receive a monthly assistance (cashless) as much as RM100 for (3) months, through a MyKad account.

SPS Prihatin Wanita is a form of Government aid under the PEMERKASA Package to provide social security protection as part of the Self-Employed Social Security Scheme (SKSPS), SOCSO, to all self-employed women from various informal sectors.
